He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Purser and Lozelle Purser; and his siblings, Jimmy Dale Purser and Beverly Davis. He is survived by: his wife Patti Purser of Hattiesburg; his son Will Purser of Hattiesburg; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Purser of Hattiesburg and Earl Davis of Brookhaven. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to First Presbyterian Church.
