He was predeceased by: his father Frank Myers; his grandparents, Marion Myers, Arvesta Myers Stephenson, J. C. and Victorine Williams; and his father-in-law James Garrett.

He is survived by: his mother Angie Myers; his wife Cindy Myers; his children, Jenna, Jackson and Max Myers; his sister Lori Myers; and his mother-in-law Julia Garrett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Myers' Children College Fund at Bancorp South.

“Sometimes people enter your life and leaves a lasting impression. That is what David and Cindy did. I will always remember laughing with “the Judge”. I will remember him saying how much he loved his wife and kids and the life he led. He understood the meaning of life and living a good life. I am sure God welcomed him with open arms and said Well done my good and faithful servant. It was my pleasure to take care of you and your wife for such a short period. Suzette.”
