He was predeceased by: his wife Rhea Murry; and his children, John Thomas Murry and Junie Burkhalter. He is survived by: his children, Linda "Girl" Murry and Dalton "Bubba"; his daughter-in-law Kelley Murry; his stepchildren, Mitch, Teresa Adams, Mike Adams, Michelle Myrick, Matt and Jodi Adams; and his siblings, Charlie Murry, Carl Murry and Mary Matthews. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
