She was predeceased by: her husband John I. Efird; her grandson Nixon Floyd; her parents, Samuel Smith and Lucy Smith; and her brothers, Samuel, Howard, James, William and Calvin.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth (Nick Floyd) of Monroe; and her grandchildren, Caroline Efird of Fairhope and Suzanne Floyd Ketchings (Kyle) of Jackson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
