It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarice Holifield Yelverton (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Floyd Holifield and Cora King Holifield; her husband Ted Yelverton; her children, Hattiesburg, Diane Y. Lee (Doug) of Petal, MS, Clay Yelverton (Donna) of TyTy, GA and Mitzi Y. Noblin (Mike) of Meridian, MS.; her grandson Benjamin Lee (Jodie); her great grandchildren, Mary Claire, Josh, Ross and Aubrey Lee; her grandchild Lindsay Noblin Taylor (Mitch); her great grandchild Cora; her grandson Grant Noblin (Brittany); and her siblings, Doris H. Wilson of Ellisville, MS, Marie H. West of Claremore, OK and Major Holifield of Laurel. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 limitations, only the immediate family will have a memorial service and Clarice will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Hardy Street Baptist Church, Hattiesburg, MS.
