He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leon E. "Peck", Billie Annis Hatten of Wiggins, Albert and Dorothy Hughes Strangi of Biloxi; his uncle Leon "Budge" Hatten of Wiggins; and his cousin Stephen Lane Hatten of Hattiesburg.
He is survived by: his children, William "Will" Christopher Hatten and Caroline Elizabeth Hatten of Hattiesburg; his wife Amber Bond Hatten; his parents, Ladd Hatten (Kim) of Foley and Janell Broussard (Matt) of Perkinston; his brother Nicholas Hatten (Prudence) of Saucier; his niece Austen Marie Bond of Gulfport; his cousins, Dr. Lewis E. "Hudi" Hatten (Betty Bly) of Hattiesburg, Andrew (Rachael), Stephen Patrick Hatten of Hattiesburg, Deanna Hatten of Wiggins, Lindy Hatten (Jaron), Layton and Layna Walley of Purvis; and his close friends, K. C. Hightower, John Hightower, Jason Parker and Damian McKay. He is also survived by uncles, aunts.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (5220 Old Hwy 11, Hattiesburg, MS 39402). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sunflower Baptist Church (478 Wire Rd E, Perkinston, MS 39573).
