She was predeceased by: her parents, Cullen Leon Smith and Laura Nell Smith; and her siblings, Rev. Cullen "C. L." Smith and Patricia Smith O'Brien. She is survived by: her sons, Leslie Lamar Cranford III (Trey), Corey Clayton Cranford (Lindsay) of Hattiesburg, Cullen Chadwick Cranford (Lauren) of Hattiesburg and Dr. Carlton Craig Cranford (Lydia) of Tampa, Florida.; her husband Leslie Lamar Cranford, Jr. of Hattiesburg; her grandchildren, Macey Cranford, Benson Cranford, Katy Watts, Lily Watts, Dalton Cranford, Courtney Cranford, Madilyn Mercer, Skylar Cranford and Rylie Cranford; and her brother Larry Smith (Mary Nell) of Easley.

To her, the most important things would include her family, real estate, politics, charity work, law enforcement, and the church.
