It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Calhoun Hurt of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sonny Hurt; her parents, Rachel Calhoun, and Ben L. Calhoun, Sr.; and her niece Sharon Gathright. She is survived by: her brother Ben L. Calhoun, Jr. of Hattiesburg, MS. She is also survived by one niece, one nephew, and nine great-nieces and nephews.
