He was predeceased by: his wife Laurie Walters; his daughter Dianne Strahan; and his siblings, Dewey, Forest, Woody, Howard, Pearl Lois, Margaret Lois, Dot Lois and Ethel Lois.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Walters (Mary Ellen) and Joan Peterman (Sammy); and his grandchildren, Sharon Landrum (Eric), Jeff Strahan (Alisha), Angie McMullin and Kris Stewart (Amy). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren that all knew him as "Poppy." He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
