He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Smith Jones; his daughter Donna Jones Herrin; his parents, Bill Jones and Eva Mae Jones; his siblings, Olan Jones, Otha Rueben Jones, Glen Daniel Jones, Morris Howard Jones, Betty Lou Jones and Joyce Graves; and his son-in-law Jimmy Hodges.
He is survived by: his daughters, Glenda Charlene Bennett (Donald) of Oloh and Eva Dell Hodges of Carthage; his sisters, Norma Jean Claudill (Mason) of Virginia and Faye Marie Barnett; and his sister-in-law Dora Wediman of Louisville. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
