With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Drake Johnson of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, born in Hartselle, Alabama, who passed away on September 14, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dora Drake Johnson; his son David Whitfield Johnson; his father Euclid Johnson; and his brother Carl Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Nancy McCord (Jim), Rebecca Nelson (Norman) and Carol Case (Bobby); and his sister Carolyn Johnson (Gene). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
