He is survived by: his children, Rodney Backstrom Rogers of Hattiesburg, MS, Kimm Rogers of Mobile and Julie Rogers Brown of Oxford, Mississippi; his brother Owen B. "Shorty" Rogers of Shreveport, Louisiana; and his grandchildren, William F. Stringer (Stephanie), Christian Lewis Brown and Addison Mackenzie Brown. He is also survived by his three great-grandchildren.
