She is survived by: her children, Scott Carpenter (Diana) of Jackson, MS, Larry Carpenter (Donna) of Sumrall, MS and Sharon Turner of Hattiesburg, MS; and her sisters, Elaine Shae (Frank) of Ocala, FL and Kay Nelson of Tuscaloosa, AL. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
