With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Faye Holland in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, born in Lucedale, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Shelby Holland; her son-in-law Ronnie Edwards; her grandson-in-law Joe Willis; her parents, Hugh Walters and Maude Walters; and her siblings, J. D. Walters, Hillary Walters, Clifton Walters and Betty Walters Taylor.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Steve Edwards (Paulette), Holly Stephens (Daniel Sturdivant), Brandon Edwards (Mandi), Michael Edwards (Bridget), Carrie Willis (Joe), Jami Feinberg (Josh), Jamison Holland (Hannah), Daniel Holland (Ashley), Kirsten Holland and Blake Edwards. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (9721 MS-63, Moss Point, MS 39562). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
