She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Joel Dillard Ray, Sr.; and her parents, J. L. Harrison and Jewell Harrison of Greenwood, MS.. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Rebekah Ray of Hattiesburg, MS and Dr. Joel Dillard Ray, Jr. (Catherine Bates) of Starkville, MS; and her grandchildren, Joel Dillard Ray III of Houston, TX, Mary Catherine Ray of Dallas, TX and Taylor Harrison Ray of Starkville, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mississippi Baptist Children's Village.
