She was predeceased by: her husband Buck Buchanan, Sr.; and her son Dale Buchanan. She is survived by: her children, Buck Buchanan, Jr. (Phyllis) of Petal, MS, Thurman Buchanan of Las Vegas, NV, Angela Boleware (Ricky McSwain) of Petal, MS and Terri Speen of Collins, MS; and her sisters, Irene Smith of Gulfport, MS and Marie Logan of Petal, MS. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home (205 Bay St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
