She was predeceased by: her husband Buck Buchanan, Sr.; and her son Dale Buchanan. She is survived by: her children, Buck Buchanan, Jr. (Phyllis) of Petal, MS, Thurman Buchanan of Las Vegas, NV, Angela Boleware (Ricky McSwain) of Petal, MS and Terri Speed of Collins, MS; and her sisters, Irene Smith of Gulfport, MS and Marie Logan of Petal, MS. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
