It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Gowins White (Hattiesburg, Mississippi), who passed away on August 18, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Robert White; her parents, James L. Gowins, Jr. and Lois Irene Burkett Gowins; and her brother James Lester Gowins, III. She is survived by: her siblings, John Sidney Gowins of Vidalia, LA and Marcia G. Gaubert of Thibodaux; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Gowins and Margie White Roberts; and also, Margurite of Vidalia, LA and Glenn of Thibodaux. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
