She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Sasaki; and her daughter Beverly Yamamoto. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth James Sasaki of Arizona and Sylvia Sasaki Heidingsfelder of Daphne; and her siblings, Jackie Platt of Purvis, MS and Max E. Dyar, Sr. of Hattiesburg, MS. She is also survived by two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home (205 Bay St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
