VISITATION: Friday, July 22, 2022, Jones and Son Funeral Home, Hattiesburg 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2022, at Jones and Son Chapel in Hattiesburg for Mrs. Anna Mae Gault, age 82, of Hattiesburg. Mrs. Gault passed from this life July 19, 2022 at her residence. Pastor Paul Ernewein will officiate the service with graveside following at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Gault was born January 24, 1940 in Grayson, Kentucky. She loved dancing, music, and flowers. She enjoyed big family gatherings, cooking, and New Year's Eve parties.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton B. and Margaret Bernice Smith; brothers, Al Smith, Donald Harris, and James Harris; and great grandson, Liam Rex Oakley.
She is survived by her husband, Maurice Gault, Sr. of Hattiesburg; sons, Randall Allen (Sharon) Gault of Carriere, MS, Timothy Rex (Allison) Gault of West Monroe, LA, and Maurice Allen (Rebecca) Gault, Jr. of Dallas, GA ; daughters, Tina Ann (Bryan) Noel of Westwego, LA and Jeanna Marie (Chris) Rowell, of Hattiesburg; 16 grandchildren, Aeron Gault, James Gault, Vanessa Jarrell, Vicky Bales, Josh Gault, Amber Gault, Paul Gault, Shannon Robert, Heather Oakley, Andrew Ives, Angela Warren, Anthony Ives, Amy Cooper, Christy Johnson, Justin Gault and Zachary Gault; 37 great-grandchildren; brothers, Troy T. (Linda) Smith of Westen, OH, John Adam (Kathy) Smith of San Antonio, TX, Ronald (Sandra) Smith of New Orleans, LA; and sister, Eula Mae (Louis) Barrios of Kenner, LA.
