We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2020, at the age of 94, Adeline Virginia Strasburg Yelverton of Hattiesburg, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ivin "Neil" Yelverton, Jr.; her daughter Bessie Yelverton; her parents, Albert Strasburg and Carrie Strasburg; her siblings, Evelyn, Louise, Katherine and Elmer; her grandson Jeffrey Alan Clayton; her great grandchildren, Christopher Chase Clayton and Jay "Bud" McClure; and her pet Suee.

She is survived by: her children, Patsy Register (Wayne) and Charlie Yelverton; her grandchildren, Scott Clayton (Holly), Wayne Collins Register (Lana) and Beth Walter; her great grandchildren, Melonie McClure, Brittany Clayton, Alan Clayton (Amber), Seth Engelmann, Makinzi Walter, Ada Ishler, Caden Walter and Adeline Clayton; and her great great grandchildren, Mia McClure, Gage Jenkins, Rayleigh Forty and Kinlee Clayton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
