He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Welch and Maggie Buckley Welch; and his wife Jewel Welch. He is survived by: his sons, Tommy Welch (Angela) of Harrisville, MS, Richard Welch (Loree) of Harrisville, MS and J. J. Welch (Cheryl) of Harrisville, MS; and his sister Jewel Dean Ward of Harrisville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
