He was predeceased by: his daughter Tanya Neely Griggs; his parents, Arris Sylvester Neely and Flora Berry Neely; and his siblings, Katherine Lofton, James W. Neely (Inez), Donald Neely (Sharon) and Hayward Neely.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Diane Neely; his son Jeff Neely (Janelle); his grandchildren, Neely Bass (John Allen), Madison Neely and Benjamin Neely; and his sister Joanne Neely.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harrisville Cemetery (1513 MS-469, Harrisville, MS 39082).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St Jude's Children Research Hospital or Shady Grove Baptist Church in Hazelhurst are suggested.
