Billy Ray Welch Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Washington Welch and Bertha Lee Buckley Welch; his wife Joan Elise Welch; and his brother Jerry Washington Welch. He is survived by: his daughters, Judith Lynn Welch McDonald (Steve) and Amy Darlene Welch Walls; his grandchildren, Kayla McDonald Prestridge (Charles), Crystal McDonald Hartfield (Josh), Edward Taylor Walls (Haleigh), William Seth Walls and Zachary Doyle Walls; his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Brett, Brantley, Chloe, Harmony Jane Prestridge, Cooper, Dawson Hartfield and Hunter Ray Walls; his nephew Jeff Ashley; and his caregiver Lindsay Burns Welch.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Palestine Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at the Palestine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church or cemetery fund at Palestine Baptist, 1491 Old River Rd, Harrisville, MS 39082.
