He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Green and Erbie Mae Irvin Owens; his siblings, Martha Evelyn Owens Booth, Jimmie Mae Owens Brown and Walton Green "Buddy" Owens, Jr.; and his niece Glenda Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Owens; his children, Meg Burns (Kevin) of Hernando, MS and Lann Owens (Jillian) of Long Beach, MS; his grandchildren, Olivia Owens and William Owens; his nephew George Booth; and his nieces, Mae Booth Forbes, Katharine Brown, Denise Owens Wheeler and Melanie Owens Milner.
Donations may be given to First United Methodist Church, Aberdeen or to a charity of choice.
