With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Penny of Guntown, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hunsucker and Beatrice Wright Hunsucker; her former husband Melvin May; and her brother George Hunsucker. She is survived by: her husband Billy Penny of Guntown; her daughters, LaManda Clardy (Lance) of Saltillo, Diana Pinkard (Adam) of Guntown and Christina Jonelis (Jeremy) of Saltillo; her siblings, Brenda Hunsucker of Double Springs, AL, Teresa Hess (Stephen) of Lamar, MS, Patsy Skelton (Samuel) of Lamar, MS, Sandy Bourgeois (Ricky) of Lafayette, Maudy Spille (Gary) of Southaven, MS, Angie Mathis (Lee) of Jasper, AL and Tommy Hunsucker (Rita) of Lamar, MS; and her grandchildren, LillyAnna Jonelis, Gage Frasher, Grant Pinkard and Ayden Pinkard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waters Funeral Home (309 N 2nd St, Baldwyn, MS 38824). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
