She was predeceased by: her parents, Maggie Lee McAtee and Edward Harris; her husband Ira D. "Cotton" Fowler; her siblings, Edeen Galbreath, Martha Baptiste, Kenneth and Joe Frank Harris; and her grandson Jacob Daniel Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Delta F. Austin of Madison and Ira Daniel Fowler, Jr. of Brandon; her grandchildren, Teresa A. Clayton of Madison, Danette A. Tannehill of Madison, Jessica F. Ferris of Auburn, Alabama and John Fowler of Perdido Key, Florida; and her stepgrandchildren, Katy Austin of Greenwood, Dr. Joe Austin of Vicksburg, Dr. Greg Austin of Madison and Beth A. Magee of Vicksburg. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
When Cotton developed Parkinson's Disease, Wanda was his primary caregiver for ten years.
