With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorena York of Gunnison, Mississippi, who passed away on July 23, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Axton Morin (Harvey York, Jr.) and Randolph Edward; her sons, Jimmy and Larry York; and her brother Eddie Morin.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Morin (Paulette) of Gonzalas, LA, Jerry Morin (Sylvia) of Denham Springs, Louisana, Carol Junot (Donnie) of Gonzolas, LA and Alice Clemmons of Brownsville, Tennessee.; her daughter-in-law Faye York of Gunnison, MS.; her grandchildren, Daphne York (Wesley), Travis York, Tabatha Belk (Robbie) and Wes McMurry (Nikkie); her great grandchildren, Trenyde "Beautiful" McMurry, Dasen McMurry, Westen McMurry, Destiny Gilliland, Dustin Gilliland (Shelby), Kaysi Belk and Savanna McMurry; and her great great grandchildren, Khylea Selby and Everleigh Gilliland.
