He was predeceased by: his wife Addie Frances Wittmann; his parents, Joseph Justin Wittmann, Sr. and Annie Farrell Wittmann; his brothers, J. J. Wittmann, Jr. and Robert Wittmann; and his daughter Myra Ann Wittmann.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Frances Wilson (Derrel), William Thomas "Tommy" Wittmann, Jr. (Dana) and Jack Christian Wittmann (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Derrel Wilson (Beth), Daniel Wilson, David Wilson (Kimberley), Kristi Webb (Brandon), Marian Bailey (Brandon), Mary Haas (Ethan) and Clark Wittmann; and his great grandchildren, Addie Wilson, Thomas Wilson, Breton Wilson, Kylie Wilson, Madi Kate Wilson, Josie Webb, Henry Webb, Helen Blake Bailey, Micah Haas and Poppy Wilson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul - St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport, MS.
