He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; his stepdaughter Eunice Marie; and his parents, William Floyd Whisenant, Sr. and Bertha Williams Whisenant "Polly". He is survived by: his stepchildren, Christopher Whisenant (Sheila), Donald "Joe" Whisenant (Betty Sue), Dustin Whisenant, Michelle Williams (Steven), Krystal Wilson (Joseph) and Veronica Whisenant (Rocky). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
