She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Lucas, Jr. and Lucy G. Lyon; and her siblings, William Lucas and Kathryn "Kiki" Lucas. She is survived by: her daughter Frances L. Lucas; her adoptive daughter Reannon West; and her siblings, Frances Lucas and Charlie Lucas. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Virginia had requested that all memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of South MS (hssm.org) which was very close to her heart.
