It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marzett Butts of Gulfport, Mississippi, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Oren Butts; her parents, Andrew Howard Chaffin and Dovie Strickland Chaffin; and her siblings, Kathern James, Mildred Geary and Ernie Chaffin.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Levins (Leslie) and Cliff Butts (Nanette); and her grandchildren, Thomas Butts, Nathaniel Levins, Julie Rossi, Freddie Stienwinder, Elizabeth Pociask and Johnathan Levins. She is also survived by great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Riemann Family Funeral Home - Gulfport (11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home (11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM.
