She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Blakely and Dixie Mae Blakely; her siblings, Missionary Shirley Ann Moody, Sammie Earl Blakely, Stinson Leroy Blakely and Chris Shelmire; and her brother-in-law James Allen McLeod.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kierra Saunders, Jasmine Lucas, Trinity Johnson, Lorenzo Luvene, Jr., La'Asya Luvene, Edward Blakely Jr. and Stinson Blakely; her siblings, Gloria McLeod of McLain, MS, Shenita Blakely of New Orleans, Anita Toney of New Orleans, Juanita Smith of New Orleans, Willie J Blakely (Larethia) of McLain, Oliver Blakely and Mitchell Blakely of New Orleans; and her siblings-in-law, Lena Mae Blakely and Isiah Moody, Sr.. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A wake will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rivers-Living Waters Church (4312 Ohio Ave, Gulfport, MS 39501). Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Triumph the Church (1121 MS-57, McLain, MS 39456). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
