He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Helton; and his children, Ida, Torie Denae, Keith and Tori. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (3908 28th St, Gulfport, MS 39501).
