She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis W. Roberts and Dorothy G. White; and her sister Glenda Cushman. She is survived by: her husband Larry Van Wilson; her daughter Stephanie Spring (Gary); her sisters, Evelyn Massey (Bill) and Patricia Roberts (Garner); her grandson Clayton Broussard; and her goddaughter Penny Gavin (Jason). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
