He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert Palmer and Dorothy Ann Palmer. He is survived by: his children, Wayne Palmer of Hammond, LA, Darlene Sidwell (Gary) of Diamondhead, MS and Linda Smathers (Martin). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
The last nine years of his life he fought a courageous battle of Alzheimer's.
