She is survived by: her husband John Gaddis, Jr.; her children, Dr. Sabine Barnes (Christopher), Cordella Gaddis, Jamie Smith, Denise Thompson, Ruben Nichols, John Gaddis, III, Jonathan Smith and Jason Smith (Jennifer); and her siblings, Enick Bell, Clarence Bell (Sharon), Kent Bell, Walter Martin, Priscilla, Dorothy and Erica. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; close friends.
Family and friends were the very foundation of her life.
