In loving memory of Raymond Cook Jr. of Gulfport, Mississippi, born in Mobile, Alabama, who departed this world on January 5, 2025 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cook and Ruth Cook; and his brothers-in-law, Howard Lee Savage, Larry Dean Savage and Robert Ray Savage.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Cook of Gulfport; his son Richard Thomas Cook of Gulf Shores, Alabama; and his siblings-in-law, Ben Savage, Betty Jo Ladnier (Sonny), Teresa Andrews (Jeff), David Savage (Ruby), Rachel Watson, Eva Savage, Vicky Savage and Kathy Savage. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Long Beach (300 N Cleveland Ave, Long Beach, MS 39560). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org) and to the American Diabetes Association.
