He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline McBride (Potts); his sons, Ron McBride (Tilithia), Purvis McBride III (Shene Woods) and Kristian McBride of Gulfport, MS; and his siblings, Diana McBride, Aurelia Marie McMillon, Shelia Hall (Freddie) of Gulfport, MS, Lydia Cotton (Gregory) of Lithonia and Micheal McBride (Bridget) of Gulfport. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
