It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paula Wright Beasley of Gulfport, Mississippi, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kenneth Wright and Mamie Futral Wright; her husband Charles O. Beasley; her daughters, Reja Beasley Klug and Carla Beasley Drummond; and her siblings, Kenneth Wright and Mildred Burton Albert.
She is survived by: her children, Allison Hawkins (Rick) and Charlie Beasley; her son-in-law Russ Klug; her grandchildren, Kerianne Klug, Ryan Klug, Charlie Beasley, Jr., Griffin Beasley, Baker Beasley and Sara Ethan Beasley; her brother Ron Dee Wright (Katie); and her grandchildren, Hugh Hawkins and Barrow Hawkins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Methodist Church (5007 Lawson Ave, Gulfport, MS 39507). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (8910 Carl Legett Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503).
In honor of Paula's life and the causes she cared deeply about, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Trinity Methodist Church of Gulfport, the Mississippi Main Street Association Charles O. Beasley Scholarship Fund, or the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center.
