She is survived by: her husband Mark Anthony Hawthorne; her daughter Amani Grace Hawthrone (Rayna); her grandson Knowledge Yahseen Leone; her siblings, Ann-Marie Charles, Carla O'Brien Clay (Hai), Tracey O'Brien (Barry), Karen O'Brien, Rachel Charles Alexander (Paul), Shannon Charles, Colin O'Brien, Andrew O'Brien Jr. (Angela), Marlon O'Brien (Venessa), Angus O'Brien (Ivanna) and Sean O'Brien (Aida); her sisters-in-law, Pamela Newton, Wilmetta Thomas (Norris), Evelyn Barnes, Deon Barnett, Mary (Desma), Lenora (Steven), Robbie McGriggs and Wanda Bridges; her brothers, Frederick Hawthorne (Michele), Shawn Barnes (Brenda), Bobby Pullin (Thomasa) and Derrick Pullins (Queenie); and her aunts, Betty Newton and Shirley Ann Newton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
