He was predeceased by: his parents, Etha Mae Brooks and Sgt. Otis James Brooks, Sr.; and his brother Adrian Lamont Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Daja R. Brooks, Olivia A. Brooks and Otis J. Brooks, III; his grandson Messiah J. Brooks (Pop Pops Boy); his brother Antoine M. Brooks; his nieces, Jeniah Brooks, Layla Brooks and Mya Brooks; and his nephew Zaydren Hubbard.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Baptist Church-Saucier (17321 Biloxi Cutoff Rd, Saucier, MS 39574). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burney Cemetery (24392 Burney Rd, Saucier, MS 39574).
