He was predeceased by: his mother Nellie "Inez" Watson Powell; his wife Pamela Hilton; his father Milton "Dee" L. Hilton; and his sister Nellie Paulk. He is survived by: his son Wendell Hilton (Tabitha); his grandchildren, Taylor and Justin Hilton; his son Michael Burnham (Christle); his grandchildren, Savannah and Shyanne Burnham; his child Chris Burnham (Robin "MeMe"); his grandchildren, Damon, Aliyah of Christopher, Kaylee Burnham, Tristan and Tierney Pearson; his daughter Nicole Kissell (Andrew "Drew"); his grandchild Aldon Kissell; and his sisters, Hazel Nix, Maxene Jones, Ezell Knowler, Marie Rogers and Connie Potts (Johnny). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
