He is survived by: his brother Otha Sallis; his wife Betty Oates Sallis of Gulfport, MS.; his children, Vickie Sallis-Moore of Waterloo, John F., Mitchell Sallis of Waterloo, IA. and Phillip Smith of Gulfport, MS.; and his siblings, Lillie B. Dickens (Coleman) of Gulfport, Sara Greer of Waterloo, IA., Richard Sallis of Sallis Ms and McArthur Sallis (Mary) of Sallis.
