He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Allen and Lettie Purifoy Allen; and his sisters, Lorraine Jones and Judy Powell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Necaise Allen; his children, Natalie Lashee Allen and James "Lee" Allen II; his siblings, Margaret Dake (Randy), Lawrence Allen and David Allen; his grandson Hunter Michael Mate; and his great grandchild Michael Allen Mate. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in James Lee's memory and the special bond that he shared with his dog, Bentley, who passed away shortly before him to the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
