He was predeceased by : his wife Mildred Christine Cole Bowman; and his parents, Horace Bowman and Sarah Nugent Bowman. He is survived by : his daughters, Norma Bell (John Gruehl), Barbara Diltz (Michelle Morgan); his grandchildren, Marnie Bell Stutts (Scott), David Michael Bell (Ali), Jon Bell (Sarah), David C Diltz (Jacqueline) and Christine Diltz; and his great grandchildren, Moritz, Nikita, Matthew, Brian, Elliott, Lauren and Natalie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, College Park Baptist Church, or Drowzydawg Rescue, in honor of Howard's life and legacy.
