He was predeceased by : his parents, William F. Eid Sr. and Ruth V. Eid (Egner); and his son John Paul Eid. He is survived by : his husband Jimmy Lloyd Ely; his sons, Samuel Ely (Ryan) and Mark Watts (Neeli Watts); his grandchildren, Macy Watts, Will Watts, Tatum Watts, Jackson Miller, Daisy Grey Eid and Evie Lane Eid; and his siblings, Betty Eid (Timothy Nikel), William Eid Jr. (Cathie), Charles Eid (Mary), Linda Eid (Philip Braun) and Richard Eid (Christina).

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home - Orange Grove (15452 Oneal Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
