He is survived by: his parents, Elisha Nix, Sr. and Julia Pace Hawkins; his sister Deloise Houston; his children, Ruthann Hawkins, Michael T. Jackson, Quinn C. Nix, Aircula D. Jackson and Yolanda D. Jackson; and his grandchildren, Yolanda Hawkins and Shamika Hawkins (Julian Jones).
