“Mr Eddie was iconic in my neighborhood as I grew up and he will be dearly missed and forever loved he was a big part of my childhood and many others growing up in the Quarters. Get your rest Mr.Eddie. We all love and miss those good plates and good chats and much needed advice. In your famous words Are You With it! Well I'm with it Mr.Eddie and I pray your family find peace in knowing how many ppl respected and loved you.”

“My heart goes out to you all during this difficult time. Mr. Eddie was well known and will loved in the Quarters where he made the best burgers, fish plates he had the biggest hear and didn't not take no crap from anyone. He was well respected and will be truly missed. I can't tell you how many post I've seen over the years missing those good old days of being in his place for good conversation and good food. He fed us many days even when we didn't have money.”
