He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard O. Smith and Clarice LaFare Smith; and his sister Anita Wilkerson. He is survived by: his children, Christina Smith, Landon Smith (Hannah), Karsen Smith, Lacey Flores (Daniel), Johnathan Smith (Rebecca) and Aimee Smith; his siblings, Rita Duffus (Don), Kimberly Ballard and Stanley Smith (Elaine); and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Caitlyn, Ryan, Sofia, Bridget, Greyson, Presley and Blake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
