It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford McDowell Jr. of Gulfport, Mississippi, born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, U. C. McDowell and Lois McDowell; his brothers, Durwood Stitt, Tyre McDowell and James Stitt; and his grandchildren, Devon and Dustin McDowell.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona McDowell; his children, Ulie McDowell III, Darren McDowell (Clarisbel) and Lisa Ann McDowell; his grandchildren, Joshua McDowell (Fran), Victoria Richmond (Shawn), Matthew Richmond (Sarah), William Richmond (Amber) and Andy McDowell; and his great grandchildren, Elianna McDowell, Abbigail McDowell, Eliel McDowell, Charlotte Aymond and Harper Richmond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
